      Uku Serif – Change font color Blog Page

      Hallo Ellen & Marc,

      ich würde gerne die Farbe der Blogbeitrags-Überschriften auf der Blogstartseite ändern.
      Ich habe das Element untersucht, es ist h1 entry-title.
      Leider finde ich nicht, wo ich diesem einen Farbwert zuweisen kann. Über Codeschnipsel freue ich mich!

      Gruß & Dank

        Hallo,

        eigentlich müssten dies H2-Überschriften sein. Versuche doch einmal folgenden ergänzenden CSS-Code:

        .entry-header h2.entry-title a {
        	color: #ff0000;
        }

        Viele Grüße
        Marc

          Super, das hat geklappt. In der Sidebar würde ich ebenfalls die “Neueste Beiträge” etc. Überschriften farblich ändern. Die Untersuchung hat ergeben, dass es sich um “h2.widget-title” handelt. Wäre dann der ergänzende css-code?
          .entry-header h2.widget-title a {
          color: #ff0000;
          }

            Hm, das hat nicht funktioniert.
            h2.widget-title a {
            color: #901a7a !important;
            }
            Hat ebenfalls nicht funktioniert.

              Hallo,

              hierbei handelt es sich nicht um Links, daher müsstest du auf das “a” beim Selektor verzichten. Folgendes Beispiel sollte funktionieren:

              #secondary h2.widget-title {
              	color: #ff0000;
              }

              Viele Grüße
              Marc

        Zeitreise | Website title (px)

        …oh, one more thing. :)

        Is there a way to force the website title to break into two lines?
        If I mantain the actual 90px font, I get an awkward
        “Cerchio Sacro delle Don-
        ne”
        which of course should be written in the same line.

        If I diminish the font size, the title does not resize on mobile view.

        I am appreciative of your support!

        Fabiola

          Hi Fabiola,

          can you provide a link to your website? I’d like to check the issue live and will provide some additional CSS code in order to display the title in a nicer way.

          Best,
          Marc

          Hi Marc,

          I didn’t receive notification of the comment and I thought there was no reply. :-)
          The website is still offline, I’ll surely give you the link as soon as it will be published.

          Best!

        Titel und Tagline werden doppelt angezeigt

        Liebes Elmastudio-Team,

        eine Frage zum Theme Pohukutawa. Wenn ich Titel und Tagline benenne, erscheint beide oben in der Registerkarte sowie bei Google in dem Format:  Titel – TaglineTitel | Tagline

        Wenn ihr euch das mal bei Google ansehen mögt, das wäre die Seite “Operation Harakiri – Ralf Heimann”.

        Vielleicht habt ihr eine Ahnung, wo der Fehler liegen könnte. Ich würde mich sehr freuen.

        Ich selbst habe in der Header-Datei nichts verändert. Das hier wäre der Absatz, um den es vermutlich geht. Stimmt da vielleicht irgendwas nicht?

        <title><?php
        	/*
        	 * Print the <title> tag based on what is being viewed.
        	 */
        	global $page, $paged;
        	wp_title( '|', true, 'right' );
        	bloginfo( 'name' );
        	$site_description = get_bloginfo( 'description', 'display' );
        	if ( $site_description && ( is_home() || is_front_page() ) )
        		echo " | $site_description";
        	if ( $paged >= 2 || $page >= 2 )
        		echo ' | ' . sprintf( __( 'Page %s', 'pohutukawa' ), max( $paged, $page ) );
        ?></title>

        Herzlichen Dank!
        Ralf

          Hallo Ralf,

          wenn ich das richtig sehe, verwendest du das Yoast-SEO-Plugin. Bitte prüfe dort einmal die Einstellungen für den Title der Startseite und passe diese ggf. an.

          Viele Grüße
          Marc

        Hello is there any way how to NOT…

        Hello, is there any way how to NOT show title of the page on the specific page in the Weta theme? I would like to set one page as my front page, but I don’t won’t to show the title of this page on my homepage. Thank you for your help!

          Wait!
          As far as I know, if you set a page as “front page” in settings, the Title is not showing automatically.

          Did you try that?

          Hi there,
          you can easily hide the title with custom CSS (display:none). If you link me to your page, I can give you the CSS in more detail.
          Best, Ellen

              Hi @renenekuda,

              while editing pages you should see something like the following in the address bar of your browser:

              ...post=4...

              This tells you the ID of the current page which can be used to alter this specific page.

              Your current front page has the ID 730; with the following additional CSS code you can hide the title on this page only:

              .page-id-730 .page .entry-header h1.entry-title {
              	display: none;
              }

              Best,
              Marc

          Hello,

          Does anybody know how to customize it?

          I would like to change the title position under the thumbnails when you see the site with PC,
          just same to the looking when you see with tablet or phone .

            Hi,

            please understand that we cannot provide help for individual customizations in the forum. The following CSS code should be a good start for your changes:

            @media screen and (min-width: 1200px) {
            	    .blog .entry-header {
            			position: static;
            			opacity: 1;
            		}
            }

            Best,
            Marc
