      Kind regards

        Hi Stine Maria,

        you can use the following additional CSS code to hide the box:

        .slides .entry-text-wrap {display: none; }

      Hiding slider text box in Weta

      Hello everyone!

      First, than you Ellen and Manuel for creating such beautiful and versatile themes, I’ve been a happy user of Zuki and now I can’t wait to move to Weta!

      But first, there’s a thing I’d like to solve. I want to know if there is a way to remove the text box of the slider. My images have the text themselves, so it looks very weird. I looked in the forum and I found this: .slides .entry-text-wrap {display: none; }

      But it doesn’t work for me. So, my question is: can anyone help me with a tip to remove the text box?

      Thanks! :-)

        ich nutze im Meola Theme verschiedene eigene Bilder, welche per Random wechseln.
        Nun möchte ich gern ein paar Bilder aus der Rotation entfernen.

        Wie ist das möglich?

        Beste Grüße

        === english version ===

          Hallo Robert,

          die von dir hochgeladenen Bilder befinden sich in deiner WordPress-Mediathek, erreichbar im Dashboard mit dem Menüpunkt “Medien”. Dort kannst du diese einfach herauslöschen (anklicken und den roten Link “Unwiderruflich löschen” anklicken). Danach stehen sie weder zur Einzel-Auswahl noch für die zufällige Darstellung zur Verfügung. Das kannst du unter Design -> Kopfzeile überprüfen.

          Viele Grüße

          i just bought the renkon theme and set it up on my blog. It’s really nice and userfriendly!

          Because i do not allow comments on my blog, i disabled them in wordpress. Now i want to remove the comment status which is shown if the user puts his cursor on an post-thumbnail on the mainpage (home). Where and how can this be done?

            Hi, you can remove the “entry-comments”-DIV in your content.php. To prevent the loss of your changes in case of a theme update, you can use a child theme. A prepared child theme folder is linked in the documentation. After installing and activating the child theme, you can copy your content.php to your child theme folder and then add your changes to it.

              I got it, but i had to do the changes also on content-image.php and content-gallery.php to apply to all kinds of given post-types.

            How to remove date from Sticky Post

            How can I remove the date from a sticky post?

            I just wanted to have a post Title without the date which is above it.

            I use Moka theme

              @prse: Hi, you can change the code for the sticky post in Moka within the content-featured.php. You could remove lines 20 to 27 to remove the date and the comment count of your sticky posts. I recommend using a child theme for such changes. A prepared child theme folder is linked in the theme documentation. After installing and activating the child theme you can copy the content-feature.php into the child theme folder and make your changes. In case of a Moka update your changes will be preserved.

              do you want to get rid of the hole meta datas ? Or only the date.
              try it with css rules

              .entry-date {display: none !important}
              .entry-details .entry-comments:before, .entry-details .entry-edit:before, .entry-details .full-size-link:before {display: none}

              the last rule is to get rid of the slash between date and commentcounter.

              if you wish to get everything of the meta info away:

              .entry-details {display: none !important}

                Hallo Marc,
                das Entfernen des Datums im Sticky Post hat geklappt. Jetzt ist aber der Abstand zwischen Beitrag und Bild darüber ziemlich groß. Wie kann ich diesen verringern? Danke für einen Tipp.

                Viele Grüße

                  @petra: Hallo Petra, wenn du die Zeilen 19 bis 29 stattdessen entfernst, sollte sich das Problem lösen. Allerdings wird dann kein “Bearbeiten”-Link mehr angezeigt wenn du eingeloggt bist (du müsstest dann erst den Artikel anklicken bzw. über das Dashboard den Artikel bearbeiten).

                  Viele Grüße
