Featured Image doesn't work on pages

Dear all, the featured image doesn’t work for me on pages. in posts, no problem, but it doesn’t show on pages. For example: http://simplyloveyoga.com/yoga-one-to-one/ . It would be so nice to have a big picture there in a header. What can I do? Thank you so much, help is greatly appreciated, best, Sandra

      Hi Sandra,
unfortunately Weta only supports featured images on posts, but not on pages at the moment. But I will see, if I can add the support for Featured images on pages in the next theme update. At the moment you would need to include the image directly in the page content.
      Best, Ellen

Add zuki widgets to other pages

I really enjoy the Zuki theme! I have created my front page and now I have created other pages linked to the menu. My problem is: How do I add widgets to these other pages? I have tried adding widgets as I did to the front page except I click on “visibility” and click “see if page is ….” except the widgets are not appearing.. what am I doing wrong? Is there a specific page type I should be using which is causing the problem?

      Thanks a lot !

Zuki has three types of widget areas.
Blog – Sidebar: Widgets are shown in a sidebar next to blog posts.
Front Page – *: Widgets are shown on the front page only, no need for the JetPack visibility feature, since the widgets can only appear on the front page.
Footer – *: Widgets are shown on every page at the bottom.

There is a way to use the full width widgets on other pages as well. You can install a plugin like “widgets on pages” and use it to implement custom widget areas in pages, but you’d need to adjust the CSS. Please understand that this would be a custom theme adjustment that we can not provide support for in the forum.

        Hi Marc,

this is exactly what I was looking for – I already installed “widgets on pages” like I do on my business page in Dorayaki and now saw, that further adjustments would be needed.
Obviously it’s not a support case for the forum, but whom can I contact? On the website you explicitly say “don’t contact us but one of our freelancers” – but which one? Can you help?!

I think I solved it by myself :)
