      Hi there,
      on my http://koolinus.tevac.com website I’m having issues with fonts for post title… whatever font I choose from the WP Google Fonts plugins it gets ignored. I choose Exo 2 for all the fonts, except Exo for all the six header styles.

      I’m using the child theme, and of course the latest version of both. The funny thing is that on another blog of the network (http://foto.tevac.com) with almost the same config everything works. What am I doing wrong?
      Thanks in advance

        Hi, this code is responsible for adding the CSS which overrides the settings made by your plugin:

        <link rel="stylesheet" id="custom-css-css" type="text/css" href="http://koolinus.tevac.com/?custom-css=1&csblog=3&cscache=6&csrev=10">

        In most cases the JetPack plugin is embedding its custom css in this way. Normally you can find the settings in dashboard -> appearance -> edit CSS.

        Best,
        Marc

        Hi Marc, I’ve opened the Edit CSS and removed some style directive regarding Dosis font use. Now everything seems ok.
        Thank you for the hint!

        Hi
        Is it possible to change the Post Title heading to 1 instead of 2 ?
        Would that help in terms of SEO?

        Thanks
        Shamack

          @prse: Hi, it’s possible, you can adjust this behavior in your content.php file.

          Best,
          Marc

            Hi Marc, thanks for your answer.
            I tried to change in content.php the line
            <a href="” title=”” rel=”bookmark”>
            I swap h2 to h1 and unfortunately it didn’t work.
            Do I have to do something else?
            Thanks
            Shamack

                Yes I did that.

                  in content.php you changed:

                  <h2 class="entry-title"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php printf( esc_attr__( 'Permalink to %s', 'moka' ), the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) ); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>

                  to

                  <h1 class="entry-title"><a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>" title="<?php printf( esc_attr__( 'Permalink to %s', 'moka' ), the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) ); ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h1>

                and btw. why is it important whether there is an h1 or h2
                just change the rule in css for h2 to get a bit bigger letters …

                • Guenni007 11:12 am on February 14, 2014 Permalink

                  be carefull sometimes the css rules are : h2 .entry-title
                  so you have to change that in css too

                  I was thinking about SEO.
                  As far as I read correctly it is important for SEO to have h1 in post.
                  I wanted to avoid to put in my post H1 as it looks not interesting together with h2 title. You get 2 times thick sort of title style headings and it is not stylish.
                  But please correct me if my thinking is out of the sens.
