Works Onigiri theme with woocommerce plugin?

      Hi @tomas,

unfortunately Onigiri isn’t prepared for the WooCommerce plugin, but since Onigiri follows the WordPress codex, WooCommerce should function without problems. You may need to adjust the layout / template for the special WooCommerce pages though.

      Marc

    Best, Tomas

      Hi Tomas,

we always collect a number of websites until we add a new collection to our showcase. Also since we are in the middle of moving, unfortunately we did not have a lot of time lately to update the showcase. But you can be sure that new sites will be added within this month :)

Thanks so much for your patience!
      Best, Ellen

      Hi Thomas,
in the Namba theme the author link will link to an archive page collecting all posts from this author. Unfortunately Namba does not offer an alternative author page.

        Hi Tomas,

Namba uses its own social links widget with the predefined “Top Widget Area” to display the social media buttons as seen on the live demo.

        Marc

        Hi Tomas,

currently Onigiri only comes in English and German, but the theme is prepared for custom translations. Please note the following description:

“Translation-ready – The theme is ready to be translated into other languages (you can use the plugin Codestyling Localization for your translation). Current available translations: English and German.”

It’s quite simple to create your own translation with the plugin mentioned above.

        Best,
        Marc

        Hi,

unfortunately I’m not familiar with any guestbook plugins. The best way to figure out if the plugin works well with Onigiri is to test some available plugins. After choosing a plugin you like, you can come back and ask the community for help if there are any problems with the layout or design.

        Best,
        Marc

If I update my onigiri theme without backup, delete all my portfolio work on the website? Or everything just stays, if I reinstall theme?

      Hello,

I have a question. Is actually possibility for theme “Onigiri” footer text “Onigiri Theme by Elma Studio Powered by WordPress to remove? Because I want to know this before I purchase this theme.

      Sincerely,

      Tomas

        Hi Tomas,
yes, you can just remove or change the footer credit text in the Onigiri theme options (no changes in the code needed) under Appearance / Customize / Theme.

Hi Ellen, after reading this I also bought the theme but I don’t seem to have this option in Appearance / Customize / Theme beside customizing the header.

Also my front page doesn’t show up as a ‘grid’ but single column and I’m wondering if there is a way to hide tags and date information?

Hello! A friendly reminder if the question about footer credit could be answered please. I purchased this theme last week.

yes, you can just remove or change the footer credit text in the Onigiri theme options (no changes in the code needed) under Appearance / Customize / Theme.

This is not working for me and I am premium user.

          Hi there,
are you using Onigiri on WordPress.com? In this case, unfortunately it’s not allowed to remove or change the Footer credit text.
          Best, Ellen

Thank you Ellen for your time and reply. I wonder where you got this information? I read different, as WordPress is open source. https://getflywheel.com/layout/how-to-remove-the-wordpress-footer/

WordPress is open source, and as such you can remove or add whatever you might like to your site.

If this is the case I might have to reconsider to expand my plan with WordPress all along in future reference.
