      Hi Marc I need to revert changes that…

      Hi Marc,

      I need to revert changes that I ‘ve done on my blog. I would like to go back to the version I had 1 week ago. Is that possible?? I’m desperate because I have a presentation this week. I changed my theme to try some videos and today I tried to go back to Ponsoby theme but everything is messed up. HELP PLEASE!! I used revisions but it didn´t work….

        Hi @rightdistance,

        unfortunately if you don’t have a recent backup of your site, it’s not possible to recreate the state from before. Please ask your webspace provider if they are creating backups on a regular basis.

        Best,
        Marc

          Hi Marc,

          Thanks so much. My webspace provider restored my website to the older version but Ponsoby theme looks different. In my 15 inches screen the design looks like my mobile phone…I don´t like that at all. Could you help me to change it?

            Hi @rightdistance,

            can you provide a link to your website? I’d like to check the issue live.

            In most cases maximizing the browser window and resetting the browser zoom (CTRL + 0 / CMD + 0) already helps displaying the theme in its intended way.

            Best,
            Marc

        Hello I’m using Onigiri and just realized that…

        Hello,

        I’m using Onigiri and just realized that in my 17 inches screen everything looks good but in 21 inches everything looks terrible. Please check my PORTFOLIO page and RIGHT DISTANCE page. On the other hand, the bottom padding in the journal page is too long… Could you help me to amend this?

        Website: http://ana-maria-guerra.com/

        Thank you

          Hi @rightdistance,

          the following additional CSS code should be automatically inserted by the theme. Please add the code as a quick fix, while we are investigating the issue:

          @media screen and (min-width: 1150px) {
          	#site-title {position: fixed; top: 0;}
          	.admin-bar #site-title {top:32px;}
          	.intro-slogan {padding-top: 115px;}
          	#primary {padding-top: 200px;}
          	.css-transform #spinner {margin: 140px auto 0;}
          }

          You can reduce the default value of 280 pixels by changing it in the following code snippet and adding the code as well:

          @media screen and (min-width: 768px) {
          	.site-content .post,
          	.site-content .type-attachment,
          	.search-results .site-content .page {
          		padding: 0 0 280px;
          	}
          }

          Best,
          Marc

            Hi,

            unfortunately I can’t figure out why the posts do not show on your blog page. The page seems to be correctly set to display your posts but WordPress does not provide any data.

            Please try to deactivate your plugins and check if the posts appear. If you are willing to let me take a closer look, you can create an admin account for me and mail the details to: marcjandt@ok.de
            I’d check if I can see anything odd.

            Best,
            Marc

              Hi,

              in your dashboard at Appearance -> Customize -> Front Page Settings you can select how many recent posts should be displayed on your front page.

              Best,

                Hi,

                you can use the WPML plugin to serve your site in multiple languages. Ponsonby itself is based on English and comes with a German language file (to translate Ponsonbys custom phrases). To create additional language files you can use the Loco Translate plugin.

                Marc
