      Werkstatt featured posts

      Hi Elmastudio,

I really love your themes! I’m working with Werkstatt now and I was wondering if it’s possible to only have featured posts in the slider on the homepage, not all posts?

      Thanks!

      Kind regards, Lizet

        Hi Lizet,

you can use a plugin like this one ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/ultimate-category-excluder/ ) to exclude categories from being displayed on Werkstatt’s blog page. Unfortunately, you’d need to exclude newly added categories each time in order to present only posts from your “featured” category, being the only category, which isn’t excluded by the plugin. I guess there could be an alternative plugin working the other way around using a “white list” instead of a “black list”.

        Best,
        Marc

        Featured slider Moka

        Hi!

I really love your Moka theme. I installed the featured slider, and it works great! I would like to eliminate the featured posts shown in the slider from the recent posts that are shown underneath the slider. Is that possible?

        Thanks a lot!

        Lizet

          Hi,

below the slider Moka displays the recent posts. You can manually date back the posts you are displaying in the slider or wait until enough new posts are created.

          Best,
          Marc
