Hello I’m new to the Hawea theme I…

I’m new to the Hawea theme. I moved from a Zuki theme under wordpress.com to a Hawea theme self-hosted.
I’m quite lost to be honest :)

I can’t manage to see where I can custom the areas in the widgets page, like I used to with Zuki. I see Sidebar, Front Page Instagram and Footer. Is it correct ? There is no other area where I can place my posts ?
Is Front page Instagram only for Instagram or can I make some changes here ? Is it restricted like that ?
To show like 9 posts on the page, I used to custom it with Zuki in the widget areas (I had like “medium size articles” or “recent articles” and I could choose the number of posts I wanted to show, it was easy); but here, I managed to do it only in the settings…

Like my blog already existed and I just moved it, I’m also lost with the static page. When I want to edit that with a “home” page or whatever and the posts page with “blog”, well, everything disappear on the home page.

Also , I don’t manage to put the social links menu right, as I see on the demo. Could you help me please ?

So sorry for all these questions . Thank you a lot and sorry for my english, I’m french !

        Center the Logo ?

I’m trying to align my logo in the center of my zuni theme but I really can’t manage to do it :( Even if i read a lot of stuff here. I don’t have the premium version, just the free one from wordpress. I read that it’s possible to center the logo with CSS but I tried several things and I really don’t get it. I even don’t know where to put the CSS code.
        Could someone help me please?
        Thank you very much!

          Hi @commune-presence,

unfortunately you need to switch to a premium plan in order to customize the CSS on WordPress.com. Since there are differences between Zuki for WordPress.com and Zuki for a self hosted WordPress installation, please ask any further questions directly in the Zuki for WordPress.com support forum.

          About me

I try to create an About Me section in the sidebar like in the demo of the Zuki theme, with a picture, a little text and a “read more ” with a link.
I can’t manage to do it. I’m a debutant, and sorry, english is not my first language, I’m french. I don’t use CSS either, I just use widgets. I think I pretty much tried everything. I’d like to do an About me section like on this blog : http://imstillhungover.com
          Thank You!

            Hi @commune-presence,

you can use HTML code in a text widget to present custom content in your sidebar. You can try to use the following example:

            <img src="http://url.to/your-image.jpg">
            <center>Image description.
            <a href="http://read.more/target-link">Read more</a>

              Hello Marc,
Thank you for the answer! But HTML…I will try ok, but I don’t know anything about that, sorry! No way to do it with a widget ? Where do I take my picture from ? I see an url link ? Do I have to take it from internet ? Can I upload a picture from my computer ? I see a lot of people who did exactly the same, I don’t know if I’m the only one who doesn’t know a thing bout HTLM or CSS ;)
