    Weta: Read More

    Hi, after I’ve updated the Weta theme, if I put the mouse over the “read more” link, the text changes color and disappears from view, I’ve checked the Weta demo page and the read more link does not have the same behaviour. I do not have any plugin installed related to this. this is my test site for reference: http://www.bruhast.com/category/text/

    thank you.

      Hi there,
      I’m so sorry for this error, I was just trying to figure out where it comes from, since I can not recreate it in my test installation. Could you maybe try to include the following custom CSS for a first workaround and let me know, if this helps?

      .entry-content a.excerpt-more-link {opacity: 1 !important;}

      Here is a tutorial on how to use custom CSS:

      If this does not help, please write me a short note via our contact form.

      Thanks so much for your help!
      Best, Ellen

    Weta: Issues after update

    Hi, after I’ve updated the Weta theme, featured images on video post format is not showing on blog/archive view, as you can see here: http://www.bruhast.com/blog/. It appears normally on the front page as you can see here: http://www.bruhast.com. I’ve double checked the appearance panel for showing/not showing featured images. It only happens on video post format and only at the blog/archive view. Is this normal or should I change some configuration? How can I make the Weta work like the demo from Elmastudio where the blog/archive page shows the video instead of a featured image or in my case nothing? Thank you.

      Hi there,

      usually for videos the full content should be visible (like here in the live demo). It might be an issue with the custom excerpt setting in the theme options, I will check this.

      I might need to release a small new update for Weta. Please keep updated on our theme update info blog.

      I’m so sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with the update, I’m working to solve the issues asap!
      Thanks so much!
      Best, Ellen

      Hello,

      The “story” field on the front page of Zuki shows codes instead of the excerpt as exampled in the image attached. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong? If that is the case, how can I hide the codes from the description on the front page?

      Thank you so much.

        Hi,

        this is a known problem and will be fixed in a later update. Unfortunately I can not provide a quick fix for it right now. Thank you for your patience.

        Best,

        Just a question about the search field on Zuki. When I search for a term that does not return any results, the upper right search box on the “not found” page is different from the search box on the other pages. Shouldn’t they be the same? How can I make the search box uniform throughout the theme?

        Thank you so much.

        Screens:

          Hi,

          you can use the following CSS to adjust the “not found” pages search box to be more like the default one. I’ll check if this is actually a bug.

          .search-no-results #searchform input#s {
          	width: 100%;
          	background: #f4f4f4;
          	border: none;
          }

          To add custom CSS to your site, you can follow these instructions: http://www.elmastudio.de/en/wordpress-en/custom-css-wordpress/

          Best,
          Marc

          Hello, I`ve just purchased and installed Ubud (wich I really liked). It works great and it suits my purpose.
          I use a considerable menu with eight categories and more than 20 sub menus. It works with resolutions bigger than 1200px, but for mobile devices it is unpractical.

          I`ve installed WP Responsive Menu plugin, it sort of solved this issue, but it only substitutes the menu when the screen resolution is of 962px or less.

          So I ended up with a gap between 962px and 1200px. For these resolutions the menu is the native Ubud mobile menu.

          My question is: Is it possible to change the value of the code on Ubud to only show the mobile menu from 962px down?

          Thank you.

          Hallo, ich habe vor ein Paar Tage das Ubud Thema gekauft und ich mage es sehr, vielen Dank.
          Ich benutze gerade auf meiner Seite eine Menü mit 8 Kategorien und mahr als 20 Untermenüs, was für Handys total unpraktisch ist.

          Ich have das WP Responsive Menu Plugin installiert, es löst das Problem einigermaßen, als es das originale Ubud-Mobile-Menü unter 962 Pixels Auflösung ersetzt.

          Zwischen 962 und 1200 Pixels funktioniert die originale Ubud-Mobile-Menü, aber leider paßt sie nicht richting für so viele Untermenüs. Wie könnte ich Ubud ändern, so daß die originale Ubud-Mobile-Menü erst ab 962 Pixels und unten (und ist dann erstzt) aufkommt?

          Danke.

            I just figured it out… Just changed the minimum to 962 on the 1200 field.

            /* Minimum width of 1200 pixels
            ———————————————————————————— */

            @media screen and (min-width: 962px)

            easy. Thanks
